The scheme was delivered for the Inspiration Trust at their Hewett Academy site to provide pupils of Jane Austen College with adequate indoor sporting facilities. The development was funded by the ESFA and Lanpro were appointed by the contractor (Kier Eastern) to develop the planning strategy and deliver the consent.
Lanpro worked with the adjoining neighbours and Local Authority to address issues of amenity impacts during construction and operational stages. The application was approved by planning committee and the decision notice issued within 13 weeks of submission. The development is programmed to be completed by Summer 2018.
