Lanpro’s planning team secured planning permission for a high density residential development on brownfield land surrounding the former Ferry Boat Inn Public House.

The development comprising 41 no. flatted dwellings located
within the functional flood plain adjacent to the River Wensum. The Ferry Boat Inn PH, a grade II Listed Building will be retained under the proposals and subdivided into flats. Listed curtilage structures will be demolished to enable this is to happen.

The scheme design proposes a new 6-storey wharf building fronting the river Wensum and a 5 storey corner building marking the gateway between the riverside walk and the City centre Conservation Area. A historical section of public roadway linking King Street with the River Wensum frontage will also be re-instated through the site, under the proposals.
