Hall Road, Norwich

Lanpro secured planning permission to change the use of a building under class B1 business, B2 general industrial and class B8 storage and distribution uses to a class D2 University Technical College to accommodate 600 pupils.

The new facility that opened in September 2014 offers 14-18 year olds the opportunity to take a full time, technically orientated course of study.

The proposal involved external changes to the building, the creation of new bus and cycle facilities and the erection of a 2.4m high security fence along the site’s boundaries.

Lanpro undertook extensive sequential testing and travel planning measures in conjunction with Norwich City Council to justify the development location chosen.
