Lanpro secured planning permission for the conversion and extension of an existing agricultural barn to provide a new residential unit.
The project involved a two stage planning strategy. Lanpro secured a Class Q approval under Permitted Development rights for the change of use from agriculture to residential. Following this, we advised our client of their prospects for securing permission for a larger dwelling on the site. Subsequently, based on the clients brief, we provided architectural designs for a larger dwelling. Following initial discussions with the Council we submitted an application, negotiated it through the determination process and secured full planning permission for the development.
Our planning and architectural teams worked collaboratively with the client to secure the desired outcome.
