Secured Planning Approval at Dell Farm, Ballindalloch

Lanpro secured planning permission on 26th July 2022 from Moray Council for four eco-cabins, and associated landscape and access works on an estate in the Cairngorms National Park.

As an excellent example of rural diversification, this sensitively designed scheme will create tourist accommodation for hikers, those visiting the nearby whisky distilleries, and keen astronomers and star gazers as it forms part of an international dark skies site.

Led by William Nichols, Hollie McPherson, and Mark Topping, Lanpro’s Planning and Landscape teams worked closely in creating a development which was sensitive to the rural setting and topography, with the cabins designed to be recessive in the landscape and carefully considered lighting options to preserve the dark skies.
