The site was in a land parcel that had been earmarked for growth in the local plan. Notwithstanding, the wider land parcel was hampered by an infrastructure deficit. Lanpro were able to identify an opportunity for the landowner to progress his smaller site in advance of the wider growth area coming forward. We made a case to the local planning authority that this was appropriate and sustainable and our planning and masterplanning team secured outline planning permission for 78 dwellings. The landowner was able to sell the site to a developer (Lovell Homes).
We were subsequently approached by Lovell Homes to assist them in securing detailed planning permission and discharge numerous planning conditions. We co-ordinated this process and negotiated an appropriate design and layout solution with the planners.
The site is being built out.
