St.Stephens Towers, Norwich

Lanpro obtained full planning approval for the conversion and vertical extension of two redundant office towers in Norwich City Centre to provide for student accommodation.

The development will provide for 702 bed spaces across 22,000 sqm of floorspace and will be delivered in Summer 2019.

Lanpro identified the planning strategy and led on the preparation and submission of the planning application including the community consultation programme. We worked with the Council Officers and stakeholders to resolve complex planning and environmental impact issues. Lanpro are continuing to work with the site owners, Crown Student Living, to discharge the conditions and achieve the build programme targets.

The application was unanimously approved by the Council’s Planning Committee, despite being contrary to the Local Plan site allocation policy and was determined by the Council within the agreed timescales
