Harford Employment Development, Norwich

Lanpro secured planning permission for 30,000 sq metres of employment floorspace at Harford Bridge on the edge of Norwich.

Many of the long-allocated employment and development sites in the Greater Norwich area have an infrastructure deficit (amongst other constraints) which is fettering their ability to come forward. Lanpro identified an appropriate planning strategy and viability case to justify approval of this development. As well as delivering a substantial amount of employment floorspace, the proposals make provision for much needed highway infrastructure, which will improve traffic flow in the area.

The application was prepared and managed, with permission secured by Lanpro on behalf of MAHB Capital. Lanpro carried out the public consultation, planning and masterplanning work for the proposal. A collaborative approach, working with the Council, was adopted, leading to a recommendation for approval from Officers which was accepted by Councillors.
