Suffolk Coastal District Council is preparing its Local Plan and an integral part of the preparation process is to identify sites which could be suitable for development over the next 20 years. This stage in this process is known as a “Call for Sites”, where landowners, developers and other interested parties are able to submit land for consideration by Suffolk Coastal District Council to meet local needs over this period.
Site proposals can be submitted for new housing development (5+ dwellings), employment and industrial, retail, community facilities, open space and more. Sites suggested for economic development should be at least 0.25 hectares or accommodate 500 square metres of floor space. Site details are required including location, size, ownership, timescale for development, availability, current and potential land use and financial viability. If you have an interest in land in the district, Lanpro can help you promote your site maximising its chances of allocation within the Local Plan.
The Call runs until Friday 28th October. If you own or have an interest in land within Suffolk Coastal District that you wish to be included within the Call for Sites, contact Lanpro on 01603 631319 who can make your case for its inclusion in the Local Plan.
