Forest Heath Borough Council extends Call for Sites until 1st July 2016

Forest Heath Borough Council is currently working on their Local Plan which plans for housing, jobs and growth and sets out land use policies in the Forest Heath area.  An integral part of the Local Plan preparation process is to identify sites which may potentially meet the required needs for development.  The first stage in this process is a “Call for Sites”, where landowners, developers and other interested parties are able to submit land for consideration in the Plan.

Potential uses that are considered for potential allocation in the Local Plan include housing, employment, leisure and community uses and a wide range of details of each site should be provided including location, size, ownership, timescale for development, ability to ensure deliverability, previous & current land use and various constraints information (any contamination, flood risk etc…).

The Call originally ran to 8th June but has now been extended to 5 pm on 1st July 2016.  If you own or have an interest in land within the Forest Heath area that you wish to be included within the Call for Sites, contact Lanpro who can make your case for its inclusion in the Local Plan.
