Lanpro secured planning permission for a major car supermarket use on some 2.24 hectares of land formerly under B1 business and B2 general industrial use by Autowrappers.
Previous planning applications made by others to change the use of the site to a mix of class B1 industry and class A1 retail had been refused planning permission by Norwich City Council.
The application involved tree removal and the demolition of existing buildings within the site. The development is located in the Health and Safety Executive’s Consultation Zone relating to the Briar Chemicals plant.
