Norfolk Broads
We have a keen interest in assisting with the future development of leisure and tourism industries associated with the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads. Within this protected area that is part of the National Park Family, and an important navigation between the sea and the Port of Norwich, there is often tensions between planning and development and landscape and conservation interests. With the right approach and careful handling of development proposals, these two conflicting elements can be reconcilied.
- Mooring Basin, River Yare –The redevelopment of an existing dormant commercial mooring basin.
- Residential Moorings, River Yare - The protection of lawful boat moorings occupied by powered craft under residential use from enforcement action by the Broads Authority.
