This morning, Lanpro hosted a Networking Breakfast Seminar at Cambridge’s Gonville Hotel, chaired by Cambridge’s Regional Director Will Nichols, with our guest speaker, Cllr Bridget Smith, the Leader of South Cambridgeshire District Council. The event was well-attended and provided an engaging discussion on the Greater Cambridge Local Plan, the Making Connections consultation, and the new Oxford to Cambridge Partnership.
Cllr Smith gave an insightful overview of the current planning process and highlighted some of the key challenges relating to growth and the environment. She also emphasised the importance of community engagement and ensuring that local people have a say in how their area develops.
