Appeal allowed for 25 dwellings in Yaxham, Norfolk

A planning inspector has allowed outline planning permission for 25 new homes in the village of Yaxham following a refusal by Breckland Council last year. The application was refused on the grounds of impact of the development on the open countryside and that the harm would outweigh the benefits of delivering new homes in a District which isn’t able to demonstrate a 5 year housing land supply.

0505 [Yaxham] - Proposal Plan-1

Lanpro successfully argued, on behalf of Glavenhill Strategic Land, that the site was sustainable and the adverse impacts of granting planning permission would not significantly and demonstrably outweigh the benefits of the proposed development when assessed against the policies in the Framework as a whole.
